In the interest of public safety police departments around the world have set up speed traps on the side of the road. Their desire to save lives is so transparent that they typically hide in the bush, behind a hydro pole, or a non CarTVBlogSpeedtrapsmarked vehicle. Majority of these public service enlightenment’s on the dangers of speeding, happen 2 inches after a sign marking that the speed limit has been lowered by 20km/hr. This is to ensure that everyone get`s an opportunity to be lectured about the dangers of going 70 km/hr in a 50km/hr zone. You see 2 inches before the speed trap, it was perfectly safe to do the reckless 70 km/hr, but now you are a danger to yourself and others, and you must be stopped. Now the cynics will say that all this is is a cash grab.  Not me. I have received enough friendly advice to slow down and I have seen the light. My days of mad max driving are over. But it is not enough. I must repay my debt to society and do my part to help people slow down in these most dangerous spots.
